JUNE 30, 2015. Aurora Sister Cities International would like to thank its community partners for helping bring to fruition its Book Drive for Ethiopia. The book drive is designed to benefit three schools and a group of 76 orphans in Adama, Ethiopia–Aurora’s sister city. Partners who generously supported the drive include: Aurora-Adama Sister City Committee Members, Aurora Public Libraries, Aurora Public Schools and Cherry Creek Schools, City of Aurora, the Community College of Aurora, and the GeoGroup.
Aurora Boy Scout troops 644 and 749 also donated their time and efforts to this valuable campaign. Thank you scouts for your hard work and dedication!
The Book Drive for Ethiopia will run until July 18, 2015.
