November 16, 2015. Exiting councilwoman Molly Markert – who is leaving the Aurora City Council after 12 years – has a new mission: delivering eye glasses for the people of Adama, Ethiopia, Aurora’s sister city. Since visiting Adama earlier this year and noting the acute lack of eyewear, Markert has been collecting donations of glasses, which are due to be shipped to Adama later this month.
