Aurora Mayor, Bob LeGare, signed the Aurora Colorado Proclamation acknowledging the integral role the Korean American community has been in helping expand Aurora’s businesses and contributions to the diversity and culture of Aurora.   Mayor LeGare proclaimed January 13th, 2019 as Korean American Day. Global Youth Leaders Volunteer at Local Homeless Shelter

On Saturday, December 8th, 20 ASCI Global Youth Leaders and 7 parents helped Aurora Warms the Night with the following projects: Move 50 sets of furniture (one set included a bed, mattress, dresser, night stand, safe, lamp and headboard) down one to two flights of stairs and into sleeping cubicles. Assemble beds. Move staff desks, filing cabinets, and furniture into offices. Move and arrange furniture in community living spaces. Interacted with individuals experiencing homelessness who will be moving into the facility today! First new sister city

Aurora City Council has approved our proposed first new sister city with Adama, Ethiopia. We kick off this exciting new initiative in August when we welcome a delegation from Adama when we will host an official signing ceremony on stage during Global Fest on August 23. Now is the time to join and become involved in this exciting new venture!
