Governor’s Mansion Celebrates Colorado’s Sister Cities

Every year interior designers compete for the opportunity to decorate the Governor’s Residence in Denver. This year the Governor’s Office and the Governor’s Residence Preservation Fund have chosen the theme Colorado’s Sister Cities. This theme invites designers to highlight the spirit of the holidays around the world and celebrate the spirit of togetherness. The Colorado Sister Cities being represented are: Olympia, Greece (Colorado Springs, CO) Lech, Austria (Beaver Creek, CO) Dushanbe, Tajikistan (Boulder, CO) El Espino, El Salvador (Grand Junction, CO) Takayama, Japan (Denver, CO) Maribor, Slovenia (Pueblo, CO)  

Aurora Welcomes Delegation from El Salvador

Friday, August 19, 2016. On August 19, 2016 Aurora Sister Cities International, together with the city of Aurora’s Office of International and Immigrant Affairs, welcomed a delegation from Antiguo Cuscatlán, El Salvador. The primary purpose of the delegation visit was to officiate a friendship city relationship between Mayors Steve Hogan and Zoila Milagros Navas of Aurora and Antiguo Cuscatlán.
