Each year, the Young Artists and Authors Showcase (YAAS) encourages youth from around the globe to express the mission of Sister Cities International through original artwork, literature, film, and photography. Showcasing their imagination, creativity, and passion for world peace, students interpret a designated annual theme into works of art and literature. Aurora Welcomes Delegation from El Salvador

Friday, August 19, 2016. On August 19, 2016 Aurora Sister Cities International, together with the city of Aurora’s Office of International and Immigrant Affairs, welcomed a delegation from Antiguo Cuscatlán, El Salvador. The primary purpose of the delegation visit was to officiate a friendship city relationship between Mayors Steve Hogan and Zoila Milagros Navas of Aurora and Antiguo Cuscatlán. Upon arrival in Aurora, Mayor Navas and the delegation from Antiguo Cuscatlán toured the city and government center with city of Aurora staff members and representatives of local community organizations.
