JUNE 24, 2015. The Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) is Aurora Sister Cities International’s newest non-profit partner! The Colorado Association of Libraries is a volunteer-run chapter of the American Library Association, which strives to present a unified voice for the state’s library community. The association has several key focuses, which include: supporting intellectual freedom; pursuing legislative initiatives; networking with librarians and other civil servants; and providing educational opportunities and platforms for professional development.
Aurora Sister Cities International will work closely with CAL in the future, specifically its International Library Cultural Exchange Interest Group. Thank you CAL for your support!
