On Friday June 17, 2016 Aurora Sister Cities International was honored to host guests from Loudi City, Hunan Province, People’s Republic of China. The group, which participated in a larger delegation led by Colorado’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade, met with Aurora Mayor Stephen D. Hogan; participated in virtual tours of the city of Aurora; and visited the Aurora History Museum to explore the ASCI’s current exhibit A Mosaic of Cultures: Aurora’s Ethiopian Communities. Hunan Province is a sister province to the State of Colorado and works closely with the Colorado State Office of Economic Development and International Trade to pursue closer trade and business ties that can benefit both communities.
