Every year interior designers compete for the opportunity to decorate the Governor’s Residence in Denver. This year the Governor’s Office and the Governor’s Residence Preservation Fund have chosen the theme Colorado’s Sister Cities. This theme invites designers to highlight the spirit of the holidays around the world and celebrate the spirit of togetherness.

The Colorado Sister Cities being represented are:

  • Olympia, Greece (Colorado Springs, CO)
  • Lech, Austria (Beaver Creek, CO)
  • Dushanbe, Tajikistan (Boulder, CO)
  • El Espino, El Salvador (Grand Junction, CO)
  • Takayama, Japan (Denver, CO)
  • Maribor, Slovenia (Pueblo, CO)
