Village Exchange Center Opening Day + RBAZAAR’s Market
Please save the date (Saturday, October 21st) to help us celebrate the Village Exchange Center’s Opening Day + R BAZAAR’s inaugural pop-up market!
R BAZAAR – Starts at 10:00am – 2:00pm
Come explore the pop-up market where immigrant and refugee vendors (and supporters) will sell handmade items, food, and drink.
VEC Opening Day – Starts at 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Join them inside the Village Exchange Center for dancing, blessings, community speakers, and festivities.
On this day, they intend to celebrate all cultures, faiths, and entrepreneurial refugee & immigrant businesses. They need your help to bring out supporters and shoppers! Please see the attached information for details above and feel free to forward to your mailing lists.
The City of Aurora, Office of International and Immigrant Affairs is a sponsor and Mayor Hogan as well as Bishop Gonia from the Rocky Mountain Synod of the ELCA will be honored guests…and additional guest speakers and performers to be announced shortly.
*R BAZAAR is still accepting vendors + VEC would welcome additional sponsors and volunteers.
