Asia Pacific Youth Leadership Conference
As a result of the thriving sister city relationship between Aurora and Seongnam City, Republic of Korea, we have been invited to participate in a bi-annual youth leadership conference organized by the city of Seongnam which brings together youth from all over the Asia-pacific region. That conference unites youth in shared dialogue to discuss future careers, globalization and cooperation.

Sister Cities International Youth Leadership Summit
As a dues-paying member of Sister Cities International, Aurora Sister Cities International is provided the opportunity to send students to the Sister Cities International Youth Leadership Summit, a week-long Summit hosted in collaboration with the United States Department of State which focuses on teaching students valuable diplomacy skills, as well as the value of community service. Students also learn about international careers. ASCI raises funds every year to provide scholarships to Aurora youth, as well as to youth from our sister cities.
Young Artists & Authors Showcase
As a member organization of Sister Cities International, ASCI has the opportunity to participate in the Young Artists and Authors Showcase. The Showcase is an annual competition with cash prizes for young artists, authors, photographers, and cinematographers interested in globalization. Participants must submit entries based on an annual, globally-focused theme such as diplomacy, peace building or conflict resolution. To learn more about the competition, click here.
Youth Exchange Scholarship Program
Aurora Sister Cities International partners with organizations such as the Pacific Rim Cultural Exchange, Up with People and Sister Cities International (our parent organization) to provide youth exchange opportunities for Aurora youth and youth from our sister cities.
