Aurora is a growing city of over 374,154 people which borders the Denver International Airport and comprises the eastern portion of the Denver metropolitan area. Already Colorado’s third most populated city, Aurora’s reasonable cost of doing business, low tax rates and exception quality of life are attracting more enterprises to set up shop on its 144 square miles of opportunity.

Here, aerospace industries and bioscience firms rub shoulders with business services suppliers and retail trade companies. The city also boasts one of the largest hotel projects in the state—The Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center. These local businesses serve regional, national, and international markets by virtue of Aurora’s location in the center of the United States and its vicinity to the state’s capitol city of Denver and the Denver International Airport.

As the medical, financial, and governmental center of the Rocky Mountain region, metro Denver is a hub for businesses serving the United States, as well as Mexico and Canada. The population of the metro area is also younger, better educated, and more affluent than most other large cities. Aurora specifically is the most diverse city in the state and can also boast that 40% of its population aged 25 and older have attained advanced degrees from higher education institutions and another 22% have completed coursework toward a degree.
