We are excited to announce that the Aurora Sister Cities International Global Youth Leaders Program is going virtual this summer! This will be our 4th year of leadership development with youth age 13-16. Students in the Aurora, Centennial, Parker and Denver area are encouraged to apply for this virtual experience. If topics such as foreign languages, travel, global business, immigration or international diplomacy interest a student you know, please consider having them join us this summer. We’ll take students on a fun and exciting journey as they build the skills needed to be a leader in our increasingly global and ever-changing world! Future travel and scholarship opportunities may be available!
Details:
- We have two cohorts this summer: The first cohort will take place June 8-12 and the second cohort will take place July 13-17 online. Plan on being available for the virtual learning, modules, small group breakouts and potentially a volunteer project from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday the week of the program. The program will last about 4 hours a day but due to group projects and modules, hours can be flexible with a required large group discussion from 12pm-12:45pm daily.
- This is an entirely free program! No costs are associated and future travel scholarship opportunities may be available for students who complete the program!
