Aurora Sister Cities’ Global Youth Leaders and the Seongnam Youth Foundation created the College Student Virtual Exchange Project in an effort to spark relationships and cultural understanding between college students here in Colorado and college students in Seongnam, South Korea. Six local students and six Korean students participating through the Seongnam Youth Foundation programs met virtually four times and shared aspects of their lives, education, career aspirations, politics, and how COVID-19 has changed their daily lives. We plan on partnering with the Seongnam Youth Foundation to create a high school virtual exchange in 2021 and continue to form long term relationships with our sister city.
