KSCA Foundation Donates $5,000 to Support Aurora Youth Delegation to Seongnam City, South Korea

Aurora, CO – May 13, 2026 – Aurora Sister Cities International (ASCI) proudly received a generous $5,000 donation from the KSCA Foundation (Korean Senior Citizen Association of Colorado) to support Aurora students participating in the 2026 Seongnam City International Youth Conference in Seongnam City, South Korea.

The check presentation took place on Wednesday, May 13, at the Office of Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman. Representatives of the KSCA Foundation joined Aurora Sister Cities International leaders and community partners to celebrate the donation and the continued partnership between Aurora and its sister city, Seongnam City, South Korea.

The contribution will help provide scholarship assistance to students selected to represent the City of Aurora at the 2026 Seongnam City International Youth Conference, an international program hosted by the Seongnam City Government and the Seongnam City Youth Foundation. The conference brings together young leaders from around the world to engage in cultural exchange, leadership development, and discussions on global issues.

Aurora’s youth delegates will have the opportunity to collaborate with students from multiple countries, experience South Korean culture, and develop leadership skills while serving as ambassadors for the City of Aurora. The program fosters international friendships, broadens global perspectives, and encourages cross-cultural understanding among the next generation of leaders.

“We are deeply grateful to the KSCA Foundation for its generous investment in Aurora’s youth,” said Aurora Sister Cities International leadership. “This scholarship support helps ensure that more students can participate in this life-changing international experience and represent Aurora on the global stage.”

The donation reflects the strong relationship between Aurora and Seongnam City and the commitment of the Korean-American community to supporting educational and cultural exchange opportunities for future generations.

Aurora Sister Cities International extends its sincere appreciation to the KSCA Foundation, its leadership, and all supporters who continue to invest in programs that build bridges of friendship, understanding, and cooperation between communities around the world.

Through partnerships like these, Aurora Sister Cities International continues its mission of promoting cultural exchange, educational partnerships, and people-to-people diplomacy while preparing the next generation of global leaders.
