Our Neighbors, Ourselves- Calling All Artists!

Over the years, Project Worthmore has grown to serve refugees from over 20 countries who now call Colorado home.

Project Worthmore and Aurora Sister Cities International  believes that welcoming communities are more connected, expansive and representative of humanity. A convergence of cultures brings vibrant new skills, perspectives, languages, foods, traditions, and much more.

In this 6th year of ‘Our Neighbors, Ourselves’, Project Worthmore invites you to explore the many different cultures represented within our state.

What does it look like to be radically curious about the world within our city? What do we gain when we explore new cultures right here at home? How do we grow as individuals when we open our hearts and minds to new ideas and perspectives?

Choosing from the list below of countries served by Project Worthmore, artists are invited to submit a piece that encourages curiosity of the diverse communities represented right here in Colorado.

Whether in the form of a drawing, painting, collage, photograph etc., you’ll enjoy this opportunity to celebrate the world at large that exists right here in our own backyard.

All submitting artists receive free admission to this year’s event.
