Do you love adventure and learning about other cultures? The iE, International Experience, believes that learning about other cultures, languages, and customs is the best way to dispel prejudices and embrace global citizenship.
Want to spice up your daily routine? Or give your children an advantage? Ever thought about hosting an exchange student? Students come to experience the true America that you can’t get on vacation, by living with an American volunteer host family, attending the local high school, and being involved in the local community. Host families find the experience so rewarding and they are grateful for the enrichment it has brought to their lives; from the youthful exuberance of an extremely excited teenager so eager to learn and experience American culture, to the tremendous bond that develops as they welcome their “new” child and grow together as an international family. Hosting an exchange student creates memories that last a lifetime.

Students – are aged 14-18, come for 5 or 10 months with excitement to be part of your family, personal spending money to cover expenses (cell phone, clothes, entertainment, school, etc.), insurance and English proficiency.
iE Provides – a local coordinator to help select a student that is right for your family and provide one on one support throughout the entire experience. Host families do not receive any form of payment.
