On August 17th, Aurora came alive with the sights, sounds, and flavors of cultures from around the world at Global Fest 2024. Now in its 11th year, this signature event has become acornerstone of our community, offering a unique opportunity to celebrate the diversity that makes Aurora so special.

Held at the Aurora Municipal Center, Global Fest featured two stages of vibrant musical and dance performances, an international marketplace, a variety of local food trucks, and much more. Attendees of all ages enjoyed creative activities for children, art displays, and the ever-popular Parade of Nations, which showcased the traditional attire and flags of the many cultures represented in our city.

One of the highlights of the day was the participation of our Executive Director, Daniana Trigoso, in the Parade of Nations. She joined the parade as part of the Chihuahua working group, proudly representing the rich heritage and spirit of this region.

Global Fest is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of the people who make Aurora a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive community. With over 160 languages spoken in our city and a population where 1 in 5 residents are foreign-born, Global Fest is a true reflection of our global spirit.
