Aurora Sister Cities International Seeks Applicants for 2026 Seongnam City International Youth Conference

Aurora, CO – May 5, 2026 – Aurora Sister Cities International (ASCI) is now accepting applications from Aurora-area youth to participate in the 2026 Seongnam City International Youth Conference in Seongnam City, South Korea.

This prestigious biennial conference, hosted by the Seongnam City Government in partnership with the Seongnam City Youth Foundation, brings together students from around the world to engage in meaningful dialogue and collaboration on global issues. The 2026 conference, titled “Global Zalpha Life,” will focus on the theme of cultural diversity, providing a platform for youth to explore, understand, and appreciate diverse perspectives.

ASCI invites students ages 14–18 (at the time of the conference) to apply for this unique international opportunity. Selected participants will represent the City of Aurora as part of its official youth delegation.
The program includes:

  • A four-day international youth conference (July 19–22, 2026)
  • Collaboration and cultural exchange with global peers
  • Two additional days of cultural experiences and excursions in South Korea
  • The total program cost is approximately $3,000 per student. Aurora Sister Cities International will provide a subsidy of $1,000 per student, bringing the estimated participant cost to approximately $2,000. A $500 deposit will be required by June 1, 2026, and the remaining balance will be due by June 30, 2026.
