In 2023, ASCI has welcomed three new Board members thus far. As such, we want to take this opportunity to welcome our new Board members Kristi Kleinholz, Binisha Shrestha ,Kathryn Skulley and Wafa Saeed express our gratitude to you for helping make our organization such a success! Kristi Kleinholz is the forthcoming Aurora Chamber President and manager of agent relations at Mesa Moving and Storage. Binisha Shrestha is a current member of the City of Aurora Immigrant and Refugee Council, and is the grant writer for the Denver Regional Mobility and Access Council. We welcome Kathryn Skulley from our partner institution Community College of Aurora where she serves as the Dean of Assessment, Strategy, and Performance Excellence. Welcome aboard to these three incredible Aurora community members!
Also , on April 1, 2023 Aurora Sister Cities International welcomed to our team Demetria Martinez as Director of Programs and Impact. Demetria worked with the organization for 6 months as a consultant prior to coming on full time and is very familiar and passionate with and about our mission and our work. Demetria has a wealth of experience managing and coordinating nonprofit and educational programs, including previously managing the Denver Preschool Program, coordinating Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Veteran and Military Student Services, and owning and directing her consulting business Demetria Martinez Consulting.
