The Adams County Mayors and Commissioners Youth Award recognizes teenagers in grades 6th through 12th who have overcome personal or physical obstacles and have risen to challenges in life to create a positive change in their lives, and serve as inspirations in the lives of others. The program is a two-tiered recognition program honoring nominees at a local recognition ceremony in Aurora and a countywide celebration that recognizes recipients from all the participating jurisdictions in Adams County. The countywide celebration is April 19, 2018 at Bella Sera in Brighton.
The city of Aurora is currently accepting nominations for the 2018 Adams County Mayors and Commissioners Youth Award. The student must either live or go to a school in Aurora.
