Denver American Indian Festival
Come to the 4th Annual Denver American Indian Festival on Saturday Sept. 30th and Sunday Oct. 1st at the Good Shepard UMC at 3960 East 128th Avenue, Thornton, CO 80241.
Admission is FREE!
The purpose of the festival is to affirm the value and role of tradition and culture of Native Americans. This festival will feature dancers, drummers, native food, children’s activities and vendors from our native community. All persons are welcome, accepted, and encouraged to participate as we build bridges of understanding and acceptance. The festival is Saturday, September 30th from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday, October 1 from noon to 6 pm. Rain or shine!

11 am – Presentation of colors with Sisters Nations Color Guard and Denver Singers
12 pm – Seven Falls Dancers and Carrie Howell & family – hoop dancing & dances from the plains
1 pm – Eric Herrera – Native flute
2 pm – Grupo Tialoc Danza Azteca – Aztec dancers
3 pm – Bear Limvere – Native flute
4 pm – DNA-DT – Northern plains dancing
5 pm – Social singing & retiring of the colors with Sisters Nations Color Guard and Denver Singers
Sunday, October 1
12 pm – Presentation of the colors with Sisters Nations Color Guard and Denver Singers
