Recently, we received notice from the community partnerships office at Comcast informing us that due to the pandemic, all Comcast Cares Days volunteer events for 2020 had been canceled. We wholeheartedly agreed with the decision, but were nevertheless disappointed because last year’s experience was so gratifying for our students and staff.
Today, however, we received some wonderful news! Though the activities for 2020 remain canceled, Comcast is donating $500 to each organization that has participated in the community giving event in past years! THANK YOU to Comcast, and in particular to our community partner at Comcast, Ms. Mary Spillane, for your continued support of the community during the Covid-19 crisis!
All funds received from this $500 contribution will go directly back into ASCI’s Global Youth Leaders program which provides leadership, service and wellness programs for Aurora youth aged 13-19!
