Aurora Sister Cities International engages in a variety of projects, partnerships and initiatives to promote and disseminate the exchange of art and culture between our sister cities, as well as to engage and educate local residents on the cultures and contributions of our immigrant and refugee communities. For example, in 2016 ASCI entered into a partnership with the Aurora History Museum to collaborate on a series of museum exhibit designed to showcase the cultures and contributions of Aurora Ethiopian and El Salvadoran communities.

A Mosaic of Cultures

In 2016, Aurora Sister Cities International entered into a partnership with the Aurora History Museum to collaborate on a series of museum exhibits designed to showcase the cultures and contributions of Aurora’s immigrant communities. As part of those exhibits, Aurora Sister Cities International has donated a number of cultural items from Aurora’s sister cities.
