Global Youth Leaders Create Social Media Campaigns to Change the World

ASCIRecent News

Eleven Global Youth Leader high school students met twice on Zoom in October to participate in the new Create Your Own Social Media Campaign Project.  Our students are passionate about our local and global community and committed their time and energy to create unique informative awareness campaigns.  Anna Mach, our fall intern and the co-founder and content researcher for ARTivism: Arts For A Cause, led the workshops and took students down the path of creating campaigns geared at current issues.  Anna guided students to consider what they are passionate about and how to create a campaign that displays accurate information, is eye-catching, and how to grow their audience base.  Students discussed how to handle internet negativity, such as trolls, and how to utilize free and online resources to create their vision.   After the students presented their campaigns, they voted on their favorite.  Congratulations to Nour with bipoc.artist.support who won a $100 Amazon gift card!
