The Japan Committee, in partnership with Thirsty Samurai, is hosting a virtual tour of Japan! Join us, as we travel past the Japanese countryside on one of the fastest trains in the world from Tokyo to Yamagata City, and enjoy a tasty traditional bento box (Ekiben) on the way!

An Ekiben is composed of:
- Your choice of Chicken or Beef
- Rice
- Shumai (a type of Chinese dumpling — delicious!)
- Varied Vegetables
- Japanese Pickles
- (1) Optional Cup of Sake (included in $30 ticket price)*
* Must have an ID to pick up a kit with sake
You can pick up your bento box at either of the following two locations:
1. Aurora Municipal Center – 15151 E Alameda Pkwy, Aurora, CO 80012
2. Kokoro Denver 2390 S Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80222
You will choose your desired pick-up location at the time of ticket purchase.
Distribution time is 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm on the day of the event.
A portion of the proceeds will go to Aurora Sister Cities International – Japan Committee.
