ASCI CEO Karlyn Shorb had a great time with partners from Aurora’s group: SARCO (Salvadoreños Residiendo en Colorado) on their recent mission to El Salvador. The group delivered art supplies to students in the community of Sonsonate, El Salvador. The donation was made possible due to the generosity of Art for the Nations, which is a Colorado nonprofit that has provided more than 25,000 bags of art supplies since it opened in 2004.
“We believe in local partnerships to support global friendships,” Shorb said. “It was amazing to join community members from SARCO in Aurora and share the generous donations from Art for the Nations. I loved seeing the smiles on the faces of children and adults alike,” Shorb added.
