WeeCycle Warehouse
This Fall, Aurora Sister Cities International is partnering again with Aurora-based nonprofit WeeCycle to offer volunteer opportunities to our youth. We’ve scheduled three dates this Fall, listed below. We need as many volunteers as possible to help assemble infant and toddler bags at the WeeCycle Warehouse, and to help distribute diapers and personal care items at a local distribution drive. Who are you? Not just your name or where you go to school… but what do you value? What do you believe in? What are your strengths? How do you see yourself being a leader in the world? and the “Youth Leadership, Inside & Out” workshop, you will spend time digging into who you are, who you want to be, and what that means as a leader.
This workshop will be led by StandUP facilitator Eric Golden, who believes that everyday is an opportunity to grow from your own experiences and perspectives.
Sesions times: Session 1 (10:30am – 12:30pm): 9th-12th
